We think about the past, present, and future in a time frame. In our existence, we define ourselves three times. This is an inevitable result of phenomena and mind, and also a process of causes and conditions of dharmas and concepts.
THE MIND OF NO BIRTH AND NO DEATH

In the Heart Sutra, the negative sentence is "No birth, no death", which is also the meaning of the entire Mahayana philosophical system. As regards the Mind, everyone is aware that it is the motive force behind all existence; everything exists through the perception of the Mind, and the presence of the mind cannot be separated from things.

- Thich Nu Tinh Quang (Phuong Thi Van) is a Vietnamese-American nun. Born in 1969 in Hue, Vietnam, she currently lives in Garden Grove, California. She became a Buddhist nun in 1978. She received teachings from her own Dhamma teacher, Venerable Dieu Khong and was ordained as a Bhikkhuni in 1989. She is the abbot of Dieu Khong Temple in Garden Grove. In addition to being a PhD in religious studies, she is a poet, author, and translator.
