Looking at the moonlight, I am the moon
This time, I can see the earth
which is revolving with the pain and happiness
In light of my mind,
I saw all living beings is me
Just hope the pains they are under
May be soluble in the mysterious light.

- Thich Nu Tinh Quang (Phuong Thi Van) is a Vietnamese-American nun. Born in 1969 in Hue, Vietnam, she currently lives in Garden Grove, California. She became a Buddhist nun in 1978. She received teachings from her own Dhamma teacher, Venerable Dieu Khong and was ordained as a Bhikkhuni in 1989. She is the abbot of Dieu Khong Temple in Garden Grove. In addition to being a PhD in religious studies, she is a poet, author, and translator.
